The following are the best drug names and what they make me think about.
10. Dupixent: Sounds like a drug from the 1960s which keeps it on my list.
9. Taltz: Sounds like a put-down from The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler.
8. Humira: Modern day version of Nexxus Humectress which I first came across in the mid-80s. Full of good hair days.
7. Mounjaro: Mount Kilimanjaro come on with this. It gets on the list because of the audacity but a little too “nail on the head” for their own good.
6. Zepbound: I’m taking this and I feel like I can take on the world. Actually just thinking maybe I can try jogging for the second time in my life.
5. Wegovy: My mouth just has a great time saying this. See my earlier post about Dextromethorphan.
4. Sotyktu: Xenu’s nice brother/Xena: Warrior Princess’ dad.
3. Vyvgart: Bar where Thor and Sif hang.
2. Bimzelx: Superman usually got him to say his name backwards, saving the day.
1. Skyrizi: Number one with a bullet it’s a power pack. Nothing will top this and I would like to shake the hand of the first person who said this out loud.
Honorable mention:
This order still never arrived, and the tracking number just disappeared from UPS. UPS lost it, but the manner in which they lost it and the way their customer service handled it was totally hilarious except it was happening to me which sucked. Anyway, your order page still just says “Scheduled for delivery on September 3” or something along those lines and this thing is just lost and the tracking number defunct. This was for a small purchase. If it was something expensive, my anger would be quadrupled. You, reader of this message, have the power to make this better. Don’t believe anyone who says you don’t. Apple should have a weekly phone call with UPS with a list of packages that have “disappeared” and make them explain themselves. This is clearly not happening today. Start caring!
Kotozakura: chillest face ever and more baseball.
Good names for dogs: Shido, Pony (Shido from YouTube, Pony from John Roderick’s Dear John Letters). Both with the prerequisite ending in a vowel sound for proper calling.
Kotozakura having a fun shio-maki.
Paul McCartney, Geddy Lee, Phil Lynott, Glenn Hughes, Benjamin Orr, et
.
Nothing makes you feel old like walking down stairs.
Kotozakura, the chillest rikishi, with the chillest baby.

Current location. More info about this cool vessel that from a distance looked like a futuristic tall ship. She’s the first and only Jones Act-qualified, US-flagged wind turbine installation vessel. Dominion built her specifically for Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind.
From r/EstatePlanning: My parents have a condition in their living trust that limits the weight of me and my sister
The YouTube algorithm sometimes strikes gold. Comments section: “Bro started gym that day” and “new trend Brutal ASMR”
Sudo Aquarelle, a watercolor simulator built with Claude. However you feel about that, this is amazing.
Eater covered this already waaaaaay back in 2024. I am slightly interested in the why but way more interested in stopping this abomination.
My daughter is happy. That makes me happy. More than anything else. I remember reading a book to her and feeling this way 20 years ago. I still feel it in exactly the same place. Right in the middle.
Brothers in Arms on Harmonica and Piano in Season 2, Episode 7 of Sugar. I had never heard this version by Grégoire Maret and Romain Collin. Perfect song for the moment.
This is for the United States. Apologies to Great Britain.

baremetalHW is still in my brain’s “Top 10 of all time list” (and number two on the most chill of all time list, right behind The Crafsman) and he hasn’t posted in five years. He commented on a video about his disappearance, stating, “YT no longer supports the videos we make.” Bummer.
Great ship name: Golden Fridge.
The way the word “dextromethorphan” moves one’s mouth.

Buffalo and Bison. Same
I just finished the first season of Sugar, so I am behind. Colin Farrell wears one outfit: dark suit, white shirt, dark tie, suspenders that make an occasional appearance. I literally paused it and noted to self: “get a good suit.”
Roberto Revilla, a London tailor, wrote a deep dive on what exactly the suit is: a uniform and not a costume. It was cut for a man who runs and fights in it, not one who stands still for photos.
The costume designer is Christie Wittenborn. She told MovieMaker some more details about their choices, but this Reddit thread where somebody who knows Wittenborn relayed questions to her has one key piece of info I didn’t notice. The suits go black, then midnight blue, then lighter blue as the show approaches the reveal of what Sugar actually is. The suspenders go black to navy. Mohair shows up late for the sheen.
I made an appointment with a tailor.
The Yale Grammatical Diversity Project explains why I’ve heard “needs washed” more in the past five years than in the forty-five before them.
The construction is need — or want, or like — followed straight by a passive participle. “The car needs washed.” “This needs replaced.” No to be, no -ing, nothing in between. Its home is the Midlands: Ohio, Indiana and western Pennsylvania at the core, thinning out through Illinois, Missouri, West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee. YGDP traces it to Scotland and Northern Ireland, carried over by Scots-Irish settlers and held in place by nothing more than inertia ever since.
I’m from the mid-Atlantic and never heard it before watching YouTube channels like Project Farm and Elkskin’s Mower Junkyard.
