The following are the best drug names and what they make me think about.
10. Dupixent: Sounds like a drug from the 1960s which keeps it on my list.
9. Taltz: Sounds like a put-down from The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler.
8. Humira: Modern day version of Nexxus Humectress which I first came across in the mid-80s. Full of good hair days.
7. Mounjaro: Mount Kilimanjaro come on with this. It gets on the list because of the audacity but a little too “nail on the head” for their own good.
6. Zepbound: I’m taking this and I feel like I can take on the world. Actually just thinking maybe I can try jogging for the second time in my life.
5. Wegovy: My mouth just has a great time saying this. See my earlier post about Dextromethorphan.
4. Sotyktu: Xenu’s nice brother/Xena: Warrior Princess’ dad.
3. Vyvgart: Bar where Thor and Sif hang.
2. Bimzelx: Superman usually got him to say his name backwards, saving the day.
1. Skyrizi: Number one with a bullet it’s a power pack. Nothing will top this and I would like to shake the hand of the first person who said this out loud.
Honorable mention:
This order still never arrived, and the tracking number just disappeared from UPS. UPS lost it, but the manner in which they lost it and the way their customer service handled it was totally hilarious except it was happening to me which sucked. Anyway, your order page still just says “Scheduled for delivery on September 3” or something along those lines and this thing is just lost and the tracking number defunct. This was for a small purchase. If it was something expensive, my anger would be quadrupled. You, reader of this message, have the power to make this better. Don’t believe anyone who says you don’t. Apple should have a weekly phone call with UPS with a list of packages that have “disappeared” and make them explain themselves. This is clearly not happening today. Start caring!
Kotozakura: chillest face ever and more baseball.
Good names for dogs: Shido, Pony (Shido from YouTube, Pony from John Roderick’s Dear John Letters). Both with the prerequisite ending in a vowel sound for proper calling.
Kotozakura having a fun shio-maki.
